Revitalized corpses, also informally known as 'Zombies' are corpses that have been reanimated either by a RCVP strain or by other corporeal reasons. They are typically found in the Southwestern parts of North America. It is unsure when, how, or where these strains originated. It is hypothesized that these pathogens were transferred to humans via Microchiropterans (MICROBATS) There are 2 varients of these cadaverous creatures depending on the kind of pathogen, Some are solitary while others can form vast hordes.

INFECTION

RCVPs spread through biting, the saliva makes contact with the bloodstream. Biting occurs during a mauling, which is often fatal. However the pathogen only starts working after the host dies, so a living person who is contaminated with the pathogen will not turn as long as they are alive. Do not make contact with dead contaminated bodies. They will turn and you will be in danger.

If you or someone you know gets bitten, immediately clean the wound and cover it with gauze, restrict blood flow in the area if you are able to and get immediate medical care within 20 minutes if you can. If successful, it will be able to get treated and decontaminated before it goes permanent!
